Are you interested in the variety of cultures in the world? The International Museum of Cultures is the unique to the state of Texas. This museum was founded by linguists and anthropologists to educate society on the subject of international cultures. The museum is a very active participant in the Dallas area by providing an array of educational events and exhibits. These exhibits range from Drumbeats of the World to Primitive Weapons to Quilts from Around the World. In addition, special events depict the various cultures from around the world. These events are scheduled each month to educate the museum's visitors.

The International Museum of Cultures has developed a partnership with educators to provide them with resources necessary to inform students of the importance of cultural diversity. School field trips to the museum are scheduled year round to provide students with the opportunity to visit the ever changing exhibits and cultural events held at the museum. This destination is family centered with various activities for individuals of all ages.

Admission: $5 for adults, $4 for children, and free for children three and under.
